Castro Valley MOPS at Redwood Chapel is having a photo fundraiser this weekend, Dec. 2 & 3! We really appreciate your support as our fundraiser helps to fund activities and scholarships for our members with kids ages 0-6. Coupons for a portrait session are $10 and include your choice of an 8x10 featuring your child/ren with antique style clothing and props.

Dates: Dec. 2^nd and 3^rd (Fri-Sat)

Location: REDWOOD CHAPEL, 19300 Redwood Road Castro Valley

Please enter the Church Parking Lot via James Avenue. You can park near the worship center building. There is also street parking on Redwood Road. All picture sessions will take place in the HERITAGE ROOM. There will be signs on the patio directing you to this room.

PHOTO TIPS

• Arrive 15 minutes EARLY to pick out/change into clothing and choose your props.

• What to wear: Antiquities style dress consists of bare feet, overalls, blue jeans, lace dresses, etc. similar to the children shown in the samples for the Antique Color style on www.antiquitieskids.com. Antiquities will provide props and clothing options for children up to a child's size 16. Bring your child in clothing that can be changed easily - blue jeans or khakis, overalls, and white t-shirts work well. Sample photos are representative only - no specific prop or costume can be guaranteed.

• Your child may also want to bring his/her favorite toy or a classic children’s book.

• Bring your calendars. We will have the schedule for the return viewing of your pictures available during your photo session. The viewing dates will be in mid-December. At that time, you will receive your 8x10 picture and will have the option of purchasing (and taking home) additional pictures in various poses and sizes (our fundraising is only based on your $10 coupon sale).

IMPORTANT REMINDER – A parent or guardian must be present on photography day and on portrait delivery day. A friend or other family member cannot bring your children to the photo session or pick up your portrait.

Meeting Schedule 2016/17

Here is the meeting schedule for 2016/17! Because of holidays we are not meeting the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of November, December, and April, so check those dates carefully. Pre-Registration for 2016/17!

UPDATE: Pre-registration for Castro Valley MOPS at Redwood Chapel for the 2016/17 year is now closed. To be notified when registration opens again in August, please add your name to the interest list at tinyurl.com/cvmopsinterest. Children ages 0-2 will be on our waiting list. Moms who do not need childcare or who have children age 3+ will most likely be invited to join right away.

We are accepting pre-registration for current members only until April 26, and after that we will open registration to moms still on our waiting list.  Pre-registration will close on May 24 and no payments will be accepted after that day. If space is available regular registration will re-open in August.
Step #1: All registrations will happen online this year - the link has been sent to your email. Please do not share or publish the registration link. I hope you will invite your friends to join the Castro Valley MOPS interest list at tinyurl.com/cvmopsinterest.
Step #2: Submit your payment of $110 to complete registration (details on payment methods are in your email and on the registration page). This is the total MOPS fee and dues for the entire year. 
Step #3: We will also ask for a signed medical and media release at the next meeting (can't avoid paper entirely!).
If your plans change and you need to drop out of CV MOPS, your dues can be refunded on a prorated basis. $23 of your payment is sent to MOPS International and is not refundable, but can be transferred to another MOPS group.

Michael and Margaret are marriage mentors, and their goal is to see young couples establish healthy marriages. Come be encouraged and hear their words of wisdom!

Seminar #3: Healthy Sleep – Arlene Fryling, RN

Arlene is a registered nurse and a Child Sleep Consultant. Come learn her tips for healthy sleep! Session 1 will focus on infants up to age 13 months. Session 2 will focus on toddlers age 14 months and up.
